Oral and poster guidelines

Below you will find all the necessary guidelines for oral presentations and posters.

Oral Presentations

The time for oral contributions will be limited as specified below :

  • Plenary: 45 minutes.
  • Keynote: 25 minutes + 5 minutes discussion.
  • Invited: 20 minutes + 5 minutes discussion.
  • Regular: 15 minutes + 5 minutes discussion.

Moreover, we kindly invite speakers to follow the guidelines below:

  • The presentation must be in English.
  • Your presentation file must be saved in PowerPoint or PDF format, on a USB drive, and uploaded onto the computer in the conference room before your session begins.

Also, please note that all speakers are responsible for using only slides for which they own the copyright. Note also that other participants might take pictures of the presentations. A remote control with a laser pointer will be available for your convenience. Personal laptops can not be used. A presentation template will be provided shortly for your convenience, although its use is not compulsory.

Poster exhibition

We kindly invite you to follow the guidelines below:

  •  The recommended poster size is A0, portrait orientation (84.1 cm × 118.9 cm).
  • Authors are kindly asked to print their own posters and ensure they are displayed from the start of the conference until its conclusion, or until their departure from ECTP.
  • All necessary materials for hanging will be provided.
  • Each poster board will display a number corresponding to the poster listings in the PDF program. Please place your poster on the board assigned to you.
  • Use the template for oral presentations which will be provided soon.

Please also note that all speakers are responsible for ensuring that any images included in their presentations are used with the appropriate copyright permissions. Be aware as well that other participants may take photographs of the posters during the conference. A poster template will be provided shortly for your convenience, although its use is not compulsory.
